Commissariat, Auckland, August 13th, 1862. TENDERS in duplicate will bo received at this office until noon on WEDNESDAY next, the 20th Instant, from persons willing to supply 30 CARTWHEELS. The material and workmanship to be of the very best description, and to be subject to strict supervision during manutacture, as well as careful inspection on delivery. Tho Contractor will be required to deliver ten within a fortnight of the acceptance of tender, and seven each subsequent week until tho contract is completed ; failing which, or in the event of objections to material or workmanship, the Commissariat to have tho power of purchasing at the contractor's expense A pattern of the wheel required may be seen, and any further information obtained on application at the Military Store Office, Britomart Barracks. 11. Oats, Maisco, and Bran, are to bo inciuded in one tender, which will bo accepted or rejected as a whole. SHIPS OF WAR. Rice, Tea, No. 1 Company's Moist Sugar, Raisins, Currants, Tobacco, Salt, Suet, Soap, Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Pepper, Mustard, Arrowroot, Chocolate or Cocoa, Stearine Candles, at per lb. each. Ootmeal, Split Peas, Whole Peas, at per bushel of 64 pints each. Vinegar, Lime Juice, Polar Oil, and best Sperm Oil, at per gallon each. These articles to be delivered on board (free of extra charge) in such packages as arc usually provided lor the Naval Service. All tho items to bo in one tender, which will be accepted or rejected as a whole. All supplies for the Navel Service to be subject to the approval of the Naval authorities, and if rejected, other supplies of unexceptionable quality to be immediately substituted, or the Commissariat to have the power of purchasing at the expense of the contractor. The conditions of these contracts will be tho same as those advertised in the New-Zealandku of February Ist, and Southern Cross of February 4th last, and the deliveries to commence November Ist, and terminate March 31st, 1863.
