squalls of wind veering from South-West to North and NorthEasr, impeding the discharge of inward ships. The only foreign arrival was the barque Alice Cameron from Sydney, with a general cargo; from the other New Zealand Provinces, there has been quite a small fleet. The foreign departures were the Kate, with Colonial produce for Sydney; the Flying Fish, for the South Sea Islands; and the steamer Queen, with the English mail, via Otago and Melbourne, The supplies received coaßtwise consisted of 73C bushels wheat, 420 bushels maize, .00 bushels apples, <) cwt. onions, 25 cwt. potatoes, 2 cwt. fat, 10 cwt. gum, 6 cwt. beef, 34-1 cwr. salt pork, 400 lbs. lard, 4 pigs, 23 head cattle, G,OOO feet sawn timber. The Customs Revenue received during the week ended the 2nd instant amounted to £1,707 14s.
