HCIIIS lamentable matter having been re--I in-! aied and made the theme of universal [ consideration should not be lost sight of I here it has been most generously noticed in the leading article of the New-Zealander of the Till instant, and for the purpose of accomplishing the object in view, Subscription Lists have been opened in aid 'of the Jews in Palestine, and are now lying at the Union bank of Australia, at the Stores of Mr. David Nathan, Shorllandstreet, and at the Stores of Mr. Charles Davis, Queen-street. SUBSCRIPTIONS RECEIVED in aid of the distressed Jews in the Holy Land.
Further donations are earnestly solicited and will be thankfully received for dispatch by the next Overland Mail, by Mr. David Nathan. Shorthand stieet ; and Mr. C. Davis, Queen street; at whose stores Subscription lists are lying; also at the Union bank of Australia.
