By the Wanderer, we received Sydney journals to the 30th ult. The contents are not, however, of s‘u fficient importance to make any urgent demands on our space, considering the late hour :.t which the papers came into our hands. There had been no news from England more recent than had previously reached US. No material improvement had taken place in the Sydney Markets. Flour had fallen in price, owing to the large importations of Chi. lian. The last quotations were 271. to 2SI. per ton for fine, and 25 1, to 2 61. for seconds. It was recorded as a fact of much interest, that two bales of New South Wales cotton, grown in the Moreton Bay district, had been publicly sold. It was said to present a highly favourable sample ; the price obtained was two shillings per pound.
