A WORD TO THE INHABITANTS OF AUCKLAND. MR. SEATON, of the firm of Moriuson Dillon <x Co. of London, lias brought ' wilh him a small lot of superior Silks, real Irish Poplins. Ladies and Childrcns' Silk and Satin Polka and Mantles Sc, which Mr. S. finds that he cannot dispose of wholesale except at a loss of 30 per cent, and he is willing to submit to a loss of 20 per cent. which will bring them to about one half the prtces the inhabitants of Auckland have even had the opportunity of bringing goods of a superior quality, so that shopkeepers, dealers, hawkers, and private families can have an opportunity of saving one half in their purchases, verifying the old adage "A guinea saved is a guinea earned. ' The following will give sonic idea of the very low prices they will be offered at. Ladies Satin Polkas Bs. cost 12s. Superior Satin Mantles of the newest shapes 255. 6d. worth at least 2 guineas. 20 Ladies Silk Mantles, slighllv damaged, Bs. French Silk Dresses wide width 50s. the full dress. A few real Irish Poplins warranted all silk and wool, the only lot in the colony, these will be offered at 3 guineas the full dress; Circassian Robe a beautiful dress 14s. these cost 17s. Od. Norwich Poplins a very beautiful dress 20s. slightly damaged. French Coburg cloths ; plain and fancy Brocade Silk a very handsome dress with a cotton back 275. Od. these dresses are often sold for all silk and fetch fourand five pounds each. There is also a bale of Blankets, as the market is full, Mr. Seaton will sell them off immediately and they will be offered at a loss of 30 per cen .on the Invoice. Eight quarter blankets at 9s. per pairand to clear the others off immediately no reasonable offer will be refused. The goods arc stored in a room next toJMr. Kelly's, High street, and can be seen on Monday next, the 9th insu. from 10 o'clock until one, and from 3 to 3 every day nnlil the whole is cleared way.
