50th Regiment. —The following promotions, in addition to those which have already appeared in our columns, have been Gazetted :—Lieutenant and Adjutant, 11. C, Balneavis, to be Captain without purchase. Ensigns Withington and Murchison to be Lieutenants without purchase. A previous Gazette notified, under date Office of Ordnance, Feb. 17, the promotion of Ist Lieut. Francis Rawdon Chesney, to be 2nd Captain, corps ol'Royai Engineers, vice Ord.
