Tenders to state the lime when the Flax will be ready for shipment, and also the rate, per ton, at which the same will be delivered at the Commissariat Wharf in Sydney. 'TENDERS will be received at this Olfice i unlil noon of Monday, the 18th Sept. next, from persons willing to undertake the performance of the following Services, at the Military Barracks, Auckland, and the Whapau, Bay of Islands, for one or three years, from Ist October, 1854, viz.— Washing and repairing soldiers' and hospital bedding, Sweeping chimneys, Emptying and removing soil from cesspools and ash-pits. Each Tender to be sent in, in duplicate, and accompanied by a statement signed by two competent persons, expressing their readiness, in the event of the Tender being accepted, to become sureties for its due performance by entering into a Bond, the penalty of which, together with every information relative to these services, may be obtained at the Barrack-master's Olfice, Point Britomart, on any day before the 18th proximo, where also forms of lender may be seen.
