NOTIC E. Commissioner of Crown Lands Office, Auckland, 7lh Dec., 1833. A LL Persons wishing to obtain Depaslur*no Licenses within Proclaimed Hundreds, for the ensuing year, are reminded that these Licenses will be issued from this Office up to the Ist of January, 1834. The Wardens of Hundreds will be elected by the Holders of such Licenses. The Commissioner of Crown Lands begs to draw the attention of such Holders to the following extract of a published letter (Bth August, 1835) from the Civil Secretary to His Honour the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland. “It must, however, be understood, that if any portion of the Province is. proclaimed a Hundred, nothing contained in the foregoing paragraphs will prevent the Governor, under the authority of the Royal Instructions of the i2th of August, 1830, from authorising the application of any proportion not exceeding one-third of the gross proceeds of the sales of Grown Lands within such Hundred to such purposes as shall be signified to him by the Wardens of that Hundred.” W.
