A Government Gazelle was issued on Thursday. Its contents arc, a Proclamation declaring Mr. John Sauerbier naturalized fro n the Ist January, 1849: —a list of the members for the House of Representatives elected in the Province of Auckland; —the appointment of the following gentlemen as Comptrollers of Customs and Navigation, viz.:—at Auckland, Win. Young, Esq.; at Ilokianga, 11. Pi. Aubrey, Esq.; at the Bay of Islands, T. Bateman, Esq; at Mongonui, W. B. White, Esq.; and at New Plymouth, W. Leech, Esq.:—the appointment of T. 11, Bartley, Esq., to be u Justice of the Peace for the Islands of New Zealand: —and three four-weekly Returns of the Colonial Bank of Issue at Auckland, the latest of which shows as &ic amount of Notes in circulalio i on the loth of October, 0,057 L, and as the amount of Coin held by the same office on that day, 5,369 L A Provincial Government Gazette was issued yesterday evening, containing several notificalions,calls lor Tenders, Returns, sc., some of which will be found in our columns. One of the Returns give the particulars of the Sales of Crown Lauds at the Surveyor General’s Office, from the 26th of April, to the 30lh of September, under the New Land Regulations, From this it appears that the number of acres sold was 18,196, for which the amount realized was 8,556 1. 7s. 5d-
