THE Contractor for the supply of Straw for the Barrack Department at Auckland, having given notice to discontinue his contract from the 31st December next, Tenders (in duplicate) will be received at this Office, until twelve o’clock, noon, on Thursday, the 271h inst., for the above Supply, from Ist January to 31st March, 1854. The Straw must be delivered at such limes and places, and in such quantities as may be directed by the Acting Barrack Master, to whose approval the same is to be subject.
