ELECTIONS FOR THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

Northern Division. The final slate of the Poll for this Division, will be declared from the Hustings in Shortland Street, by the Returning Officer, at noon this day. * Mr. T. S. Forsailh and Dr. Leo ar6 the successful candidates. The numbers of voles at the Auckland and North Shore Polling Places were staled in our last; we, however, for the sake of completeness, repeat them here, adding those Returns which have since been received. The following numbers will, we believe, be found nearly, if not exactly, accurate. Auckland. —Allan O’Neill, 87 ; Thomas S. Forsailh, 84; Waller Lee, 52. North Shore. —O’Neill, 16; Lee, 11; Forsailh 3* Titiranyi. —Forsailh, 39; O’Neill, 24; Lee, 15. Mr. lilake’s Station.— Forsailh, 17; Lee, 10; O’Neill, 1. Mr. Maurice Kelly's Station (the Wade.) — Leo, 49; Forsailh, 20; O’Neill, 1. Gross Poll. Forsailh . . . 169 Lee ..... 137 O’Neill .... 128 SOUTHERN DIVISION. In our last we were able only to slate the numbers at the Onchunga Polling Place. We now repeat those numbers with the other Returns since come to hand. Onehunya.— Captain Powdilch, 51 ; Major Gray, 40; Mr. Charles John Taylor, 39. Olahuhu.— Taylor, 47; Powdilch, 33; Gray, 52. Panmure. —Taylor, 61, Gray, 59 ; Powdilch, 29. Hawick.— Taylor, 52; Gray, 49; Powdilch, 22. Coromandel. —Taylor, 11; Gray, 11 ; Powdilch, nil. TOTALS. Taylor . . . . 210 Gray .... 197 Powdilch . . .'155 The Returns from Rangiawhia and Kawhia are yet to come in; but the voters in those places are few, the highest numbers polled at the late Provincial Councils Elections having been 7 at the former station and Bat the latter. It is impossible, therefore, that the Returns from those places should reverse the relative posiiions of the candidates, and Mr. Taylor and Major Gray maybe regarded as the members for the Division.
