Elections for the House of Representatives. —A meeting of Electors of the Southern and Northern Divisions was hold at the Royal George Inn, Onehunga, on Thursday evening last. Mr. R. B. Lusk was called to the chair. Only one candidate for each Division was present, viz. : Mr. Charles John Taylor (Southern) and Mr. T. S. Forsaiih (Northern). Both these gentlemen addressed the meeting, and were well received. One or two of the electors present spoke on behalf of absent candidates, and a number of questions were proposed by some of the Pensioner electors, which elicited a good deal of information. The meeting was not very numerously attended, but was very orderly and harmonious. The proceedings terminated with an unanimous vole of thanks to the Chairman.
