His long residence in this cotmtrj (dating anterior to its becoming a British Colony) and his personal experience in its land affairs, enable him to bring to this new vocation a practical knowledge of its details. His business in Auckland will be conducted in connexion with a Melbourne Agency of the highest respectability, and wMI offer the Lands in the Port Phillip Market, and the execution of Melbourne orders for investment in the New Zealand market. He is already honored with instructions of sale of several New Zealand Estates. With these views he is on the point of proceeding to Melbourne, to complete his arrangements there, and will return forthwith to become'a permanent resident.
