DIED.
In February last, at Worstead, Norfolk England* Piicf.be Shalders, tbe much loved Mother of R. B. Shalders, Storekeeper, Queen-street, Auckland. On Saturday last, by a fall from bis horse, on the Taniaki Road, Mr. James Magee, of Pukake, aged 51 years. Tbe particulars of this melancholy occurrence will be found in the account of the Coroners’ Inquest on the body which we publish elsewhere. Air. Magee was one of the earliest colonists of New Zealand, having come to the Bay of Islands with the first settlers, and his sudden death by so afflictive an accident will long be deeply lamented by his family and.numerous friends. 'rise Funeral will leave the Royal George, Newmarket, this afternoon, at two o’clock. Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
