IVTOTICE is hereby given that Land of the ■LN best quality for Agricultural Purposes, situated in the neighbourhood of AUCKLAND, THE CAPITAL OF NEW ZEALAND, may, from and after this date, be purchased direct from the Crown, in Allotments to suit purchasers, at the rate of FROM FIVE TO TEN SHILLINGS AN ACRE; the proceeds to be applied to EMIGRATION AND PUBLIC WORKS. NEW ZEALAND COMPANY’S SETTLEMENTS. The Terms of Purchase of Land situated within the above-mentioned districts, having been fixed by [Act of Parliament, the laic Agent of the Company is under Injunction not to dispose of Land in the Wellington and Whanganui Districts for less than 1 WO POUNDS AN ACRE, the price at present deemed most beneficial to the buyer. N.B. —The Land Fund arising in the Wellington District will he applied in liquidation of the sum of 208,000 L, expended by the Company in rendering their Settlement attractive. CANTERBURY SETTLEMENT. The Canterbury Settlement having been established on Church principles, and so as to include the idea of a Rishoprick—Land within the Canterbury Block will continue to be sold as heretofore at the rate of THREE POUNDS AN ACRE, the sum being understood to include a Dean and Chapter. The Funds arising from the Sale of Land in this District will be expended in completing the Ideal of the Canterbury Church.
