Extraordinary cure of Rheumatic Fever by Holloway's Pills, in Van Dicmen's Land. Margaret M'Connigan, nineteen years of age, residing at New Town, had been suffering from a violent rheumatic fever for upwards of two months, which had entirely deprived her of the use of her limbs. During this period she was under the care of three of the most eminent medical men in Hobart Town, and by them her case was considered hopeless. A friend prevailed upon her parents to try Holloway's celcqrated Pills, which they consented to do, and in an incredibly short space of lime a perfect cure was effected. The particulars of this case are copied from the 'Hobart Town Courier.' HP HE Undersigned Committee, appointed ~*~ at Ihe Meeiing held at the Exchange Hotel, on Monday, October 11th, are prepared to pay a reward of £SOO certain, and such further sum as the net subscriptions shall amount to (probably £SOO more) to the first person who shall discover, and make known to them a valuable gold field, situate in this district of New Zealand, between the 55 c 40', and 38 c of sou«h latitude.
