GENERAL, CONDITIONS. 1 . —All the Articles to be of the best marketable quality of their several kinds. 2. —The Flour to be the produce of clean sound Wheat, from which 20 per cent in Bran has been extracted. . 3.—The Bread shall also be the produce -of clean sourid Wheat, and shall be baked 24 hours before being issued in loaves of 21bs. each. A strict observance of ibis condition will invariably bo enforced. 4.—The Fresh Meat, to consist of Reef and Mutton, to be delivered —if so required—in the proportion of 5 lbs. of Reef, and 2 lbs. of Mutton weekly, Fore and hind quarters to be delivered alternately when the quantity permits. Each Tender must be accompanied by a statement, signed by two competent persons, and expressing their readiness, in the event of the Tender being accepted., to become sureties for its due performance by entering into a Bond, the penally of which will be equal to the estimated amount of three months supplies. 40.—1t shall be in the power of cither parly to limit the duration of the Contract by giving in writing a notice of three calendar months to the opposite party, and to end the contract at the expiration of that period.
