Commissariat Office, Auckland, 14ih February, 1855. f PENDERS will be received at ibis Office, i- until noon of Wednesday the 9th March next, from persons willing to Contract for furnishing the undermentioned Supplies in such quantities, at such limes, and at such places, within the District of the Bay of Islands, as may be directed by, or on behalf of the Undersigned, or his Successor in Office, during the twelve calendar months commencing Ist April next, viz.:— Fresh Meat, Bread, Sperm Candles, of English Manufacture, Dip Candles, Mould Candles, Vegetables, for ships of War or Transports, ) Firewood, at per lOOlbs. FOR HOSPITALS. Fresh Beef or Mutton, Fine Bread, Flour, Arrowroot, Sago, Rice, Tea, Sugar, Oatmeal, Salt, Yellow Soap, Pearl Barley, Mixed Vegetables, Potatoes, Porter, Port Wine, Brandy, each at per bottle Milk, Vinegar, each at per pint Eggs, at per dozen Fowls, each. The Conditions under which the supplies will be received, are the same as those laid down in the Commissariat Advertisement inviting Tenders for the Auckland District, as it appears in this Newspaper. Commissariat Office, Auckland, 1 -dlh February, 1855. will be received at this Office 1- until noon of Wednesday, the 9th March next, from persons willing to contract for furnishing such quantities of STRAW as may be required by the Barrack Department at the Bay of Islands. The Straw to be delivered at the Wahapu at such limes and in such quantities as may be directed, and to be subject to the approval of the Officer or person in charge of the Barrack Department.
