Earthquake at Manila. — A fearful earthquake was experienced at Manila on the Oth ot October, The shock was sensibly felt by vessels ninety miles at sea.' The cathedral and several other buildings were thrown down and entirely destroyed, and a large number of houses greatly injured. Nearly all the inhabitants had rushed precipitately into the interior, in fear of a second shock. We have no estimate of the number of lives supposed to have been lost.
