Be just and fear not: Let all the ends thou aim’st at, bo thy Country’s, Thy (ion’s, and Truth’s.
We this day subordinate the claims of other subjects, as well as postpone some comments of our own, in order to include in our present number a mass of documentary and historical matter relating to the general affairs of the colony, with which we have been supplied by the mail from the South brought by the True Briton. First we have to place on record the Proclamation of the New Constitution Act, which was issued at Wellington on the 17th of January. The following is a copy :
