FIRST RACE. Prize 42/. 42s.—Entrance I/. 40s. For decked, half-decked, and hatch boats, not exceeding 25 tons, or under 5 ions.— To start from the flag-ship, passing on the south side of a Hag-boat to be moored off the Watchman; round to the north of the boat down to a flag-boat to bo moored off the North Head, pass to the north of that boat, round to the South, and back to the flag ship, coming in on her South side. Three Vessels to start or no race. Second ]x>at to save her slakes. SECOND RACE. Ist Prize 10/. —2nd Prize 2/. No Entrance Fee. For Vessels above 40 tons, owned and navigated by Aborigines of New Zealand. Three Vessels to start or no race. Course the same as the First Race. THIRD RACE. Prize 5/.—Entrance 42 5. Gd. For sailing boats of 5 tons and under.— Three boats to start or no race. To start from the flag-ship, pass to the North of the boat at the North Head, round to the South, and work up towards the Watchman at the discretion of the respective boats, pass the flag-boat off the Watchman to the South, round to the North, and come in on the South side of the flag-ship. FOURTH RACE. Ist Prize 4 5/. 4 ss.—2nd Prize, 5/ ss. Entrance 4/. 4s. For open Cargo Boats, not under 6 tons. Tin •ee Boats to start or no race. In the event of five or more boats starting, the third boat to save her stakes. Same course as the 3rd race. FIFTH RACE. Prize 40/. 10s. — Entrance 4/. is. For four-oared Gigs pulled by Amateurs.— Three boats to start or no race. To start from the flag-ship, pass to the South of the flag-boat moored off the Watchman, round to the North, and come in on the South side of the flag-ship, SIXTH RACE. Ist Prize 45/. 4 ss.—2nd Prize 5/. ss. Entrance 4/. 4s. For Whale-boats to be pulled by five oars. Five Boats to start or no race. Third boat to save her entrance money. To start from the flag-ship, pass to the North of the flag-boat off the North Head, round to the South, and come in on the South side of the flag-ship. SEVENTH RACE. Prize 5/.—Entrance 40s. 6 d. For Watermen’s Boats pulling two oarl. Three boats to start or no race. Course.—From the flag-ship, pass to the South of a boat to be moored off Judge’s Bay, round to the North, and pass the flagship on the South side. EIGHTH RACE. Ist Prize 5/.—2nd Prize 4/. No Entrance. For small Canoes, not to be manned by more than twelve Natives. Same course as that for Whale-boats. Three to start or no race. NINTH RACE.
