Commissariat, Auckland, 21st December, 4852. HP ENDERS for supplying the following J- Articles for H. M. 58lh Regiment, at Auckland, will be received at this Office until noon of Monday, the 27th instant, viz., Tea, Salt, Sugar, Potatoes, Coffee, Green Vegetables, Milk, Flour, Pepper, Barley. Rice, The quantities likely to be required may be ascertained from the Quarter-Master, 58th Regiment. The supplies will have to be delivered at Albert Barracks daily, at the same hours as the Rations of Bread and Meat are delivered. Each Tender must comprise all the Articles required. Tenders for portions thereof not bring eligible for acceptance. The supplies to be of the best quality and description, and to be subject to the approval of a Board of Officers appointed by the Officer in command of the Regiment. The Contract to last for 5 months, commencing on the Ist proximo, unless previously terminated by a month's notice given for that purpose in writing by either party. The person taking the Contract must be prepared to give ample security for its proper fulfilment. Payment for the supplies furnished will be made weekly by the Regiment.
