Commissariat, Auckland, Ist November, 1852. THE Contractor for furnishing BREAD at Auckland, for this department, having given the usual three months Notice for the termination of his agreement, Tenders for the supply of BREAD from Ist. December 1852 to 31st. March 1853, at Auckland, will be received at this Office until noon of Wednesday the 1 7th instant. The conditions of Contract will be the same as those specified in the Commissariat Advertisement, dated 20th January, 1852, and published in the "New Zealander" newspaper. Philip Turner. HPHE Undersigned Committee, appointed ■*- at the Meeting held at the Exchange Hotel, on Monday, October 14 th, are prepared to pay a reward of * 500 certain, and such further sum as the net subscriptions shall amount to (probably £500 more) to the first person who shall discover, and make known to them a valuable gold field, situate in this district of New Zealand, between the 35 ° 40', and 38 ° of south latitude.
