rpHE Undersigned Committee, appointed JL at the Meeting held at the Exchange Hotel, on Monday, October 41th, are prepared to pay a reward of i 500 certain, and such further sum as the net subscriptions shall amount to (probably £500 more) to the first person who shall discover, and make known to them a valuable gold field, situate in this district of New Zealand, between the 55 ° 40', and 58 ° of south latitude. The value of the gold field must be proved to the satisfaction of the Committee, before the reward will be paid.
