HP HE Undersigned Committee, appointed J- at the Meeting held at the Exchange Hotel, on Monday, October 11th, are prepared to pay a reward of ±'500 certain, and such further sum as the net subscriptions shall amount to (probably £500 more) to the first person who shall discover, and make known to them a valuable gold field, situate in this district of New Zealand, between the 35 ° 40', and 38 ° of south latitude. The value of the gold field must be proved to the satisfaction of the Committee, before the reward will be paid. Applications for the above reward to be made in writing, to the Chairman of Committee.
