Gorrie, Confectioner, v> here he proposes to carry on the abo\e branches, and from increased facilities, will be enabled to add considerably to ihe variety of his Slock. — In fact, it will require but one Msil from connoisseurs to convince them that they are in a Confectioner's Shop. Ladies and Gentlemen preferring quality to quantity, will be highly gratified b) a call at the above establishment. J. F. begs to remind those Gentlemen who occasionally entertain their friends, that they can be supplied at his Establishment with anything required for any form of entertainment, either ornamental, or otherwise, on the shortest notice, and the lowest possible remunerating prices. The daily Bill of Fare will contain assorted patties, tartlets, Bath, Chelsea, and other buns, with jollies, colfee, and other vivifying accompaniments. Always on hand — Rusks, Tops and Botloms, Biscuit Powder, .>c, for infants and invalids, together with a varied stock of Genuine Confectionery. Wedding, Christmas, and other Cakes, made to order, ornamented after the most chaste, elegant, and appropriate designs. Muffins, Crumpets, and Tea Cakes, three times a week. N. B. — A liberal allowance made on all Goods required for charitable purposes. 13th September, 1852.

AUCKLAND AUXILIARY BIBLE SOCIETY. ''"FHE Committee beg to inform the friends J- and supporters of the British and Foreign Bible Society, that the Auckland Auxiliary has during (he past two years forwarded to the Parent Society, as free contributions, £40, and on the purchase i account the sum of £90 ; but, impressed with the recollections of the large outlay which the British and Foreign Bible Society has made in former years in these Islands, the Committee arc anxious to increase the free contributions made to the Society and hereby solicit that renewed aid which will enable them to do so.
