The important question of completing this ■ route between iingland and New South Wales, by a contribution from colonial funds in aid of (he proposed line of steamers between Panama and Sydney, is to be brought before the Legislative Council by Mr. Donaldson. The honourable number has given notice of his intention to move a series of resolutions, including a proposal to present an addiess to the Governor-General., praying that His Excellency will be pleased to cause to be placed upon the estimates for 48.T>, the sum of GOOO for this object, which eoultiInifton it is proposed to continue for three years to the fust steam company which shall establish a monthly line of steamers between Sydney nwd the Isthmus of I.mama, by which the course of post between London and Sydney sh.iil be bi ought under 130 days. >\'e cannot doubt that this
