PERSONS intending to slaughter Cattle within the District proclaimed by His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, are requested to forward notice in writing to the Inspector of Slaughter Houses, of the time and place of such intended slaughtering, or leave the said notice at his residence, near the Pubic Pound, Hobson's Bridge, Newmarket, agreeably to the provisions of the Slaughter Mouse Ordinance, Victoria 11, Session 8, No. 5. The penalty for slaughtering Cattle %vithout such notice is five pounds for each and every head of horned or neat cattle so slaughtered. David G. Smale, Inspector of the District.
