ON SALE, EX DANIEL WEBSTER, MOULD CANDLES Pampanga Sugar Java Coflec. J. Woodiiouse. Queen-street, Aug. 20, 4852. AUCKLAND MECHANICS' INSTITUTE. Committee of Management of this J- Institution inform the Members that, in compliance with a general request, they have caused a Supplementary Catalogue of the Books lately added to the Library of the Institution to be printed, and attached to the formerly printed Laws and Catalogue; and thai they have directed a copy thereof lo be furnished gratis to every Member of the Institution. Any Member who may not have had his copy delivered to him by the Collector may obtain one on application to the Honorary Secretary, or to the Librarian al the Library. The Committee desire to avail themselves of this opportunity lo invile general attention to this Institution. They would point out thai by the kindness of several gentlemen they are enabled to offer occasional Lectures to the Members; that they are anxious lo foster any class which it may be considered desirable lo form in connexion with the Institution ; and lhal the Library, open on two evenings in each week, now contains a really good and pretty numerous collection of useful and entertaining works.
