AUCKLAND MECHANICS' INSTITUTE.

rpHE Committee of Management of this J- Institution inform the Members that, in compliance with a general request, they have caused a Supplementary Catalogue of the Books lately added to the Library of the Institution to be printed, and attached to the formerly printed Laws and Catalogue; and that they have directed a copy thereof to be furnished gratis to every Member of the Institution. Any Member who may not have had his copy delivered to him by the Collector may obtain one on application to the Honorary Secretary, or to the Librarian at the Library. The Committee desire to avail themselves of this opportunity to invite general attention to this Institution. They would point out that by the kindness of several gentlemen they are enabled to offer occasional Lectures to the Members; that they are anxious to foster any class which it may be considered desirable to form in connexion with the Institution ; and that the Library, open on two evenings in each week, now contains a really good and pretty numerous collection of useful and entertaining works.
