DIED.
At his reaulenpe, near the Government dairy, on Monday, August 16th, Jam*s Akmouu, Stonemason, aged 42 years. Fiiends are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place at £-past 2 o'clock this day. On ihe ?9th ultimo, Ward Stephens, Esq., a^ed 48 years, after a long and painful illness. Mr. Stephens was a native of Po^tsea ; and arrived in the colony in 1829. Ho was one of the original proprietors and conductors of the Sydney Herald, which commenced in the beginning of 1831.
