H. HADLOW, SHORTLAND-STREET, AUCKLAND, BEGS respectfully and sincerely to thank bis numerous friends for their patronage and support the many years he has been in I business ; but to offer thanks in this way to ; those by whom he has been supported is scarcely sufficient to convey an adequate acknowledgment of his gratitude for the extensive patronage he has received. From various causes he is compelled to remove to another more flourishing colony, where he hopes with their good wishes and his own exertions to do better than in this (he is sorry to see it) fastly diminishing I community. H. H. has now commenced SELLING OFF his large Stock, at less than cost price. At the expiration of a month from this date the remaining portion will be offered by Public Auction, of which due notice will be given. All accounts owing are respectfully requested to be forthwith settled, and claims against him presented for payment. August 10, 1852.
LOOK HERE/ LOOK HERE,' ! LOOK HERE ! ! ! LATHER'EM SOAP-SUDS, TMPRESSED with a sincerely grateful -*- sense of the extensiye patronage of his numerous friends, during those sunny days when they had tin to spend, and he a chance of sacking their blunt, begs to inform them that, as they are now, in his humble opinion, going post haste "to the dogs," it is his intention to be off in quick sticks to the diggings. To expedite a movement, so much on his part to be desired, Lather'em Soapsuds invites the attention of the unfortunates he is about to abandon, to his extensive Stock of Wash Balls, Razor Paste, and other Groceries, which he has commenced Selling off at A PRODIGIOUS SACRIFICE ! Soft Soap by the yard, full 95 per cent under prime cost. Other notions even a shade lower. N.B.— ln a week from this date," unless cleared off in the interim, the remainder of Lather'em Soapsuds multifarious traps will be brought to the hammer, feeling convinced as he most respectfully does, that unless he realizes in double quick, the bubble will bitrstup, when he, his wares, and the fast diminishing community of his devoted city will find themselves altogether evaporated. August i Oth, 1852.
