By the overland Mail of Saturday we Lave Wellington papers one date later than those brought by the the Eclair, The Government Brig had sailed from Wellington, for Otago, on the 10th June. The Munford, schooner, arrived on that day from Hobart Town via Victoria, — We announced the lot.s of the Henry, •chooner, of Wellington, in our paper of the 30th ult. The following further particulars are from the Spectator : —"Information was received yesterday of the total wreck of the schooner Henry, off the mouth of the harbour, by a person travelling the coast road from Wairarapa, who saw fragments of the vessel, and articles of various kinds that had been washed ashore on the beach beyond Mr. Eiddiford's station, The Henry had been chartered to bring round from the Porirua station, from which the detachment of the 65th was withdrawn on the Ist of the month, various Ordnance and Commissariat stores, and she sailed from Porirua f^or Wellington on Friday. It is supposed she was <:aught in the violent and sudden storm on Saturday evening, when off the harbour, and was driven on shore — and there is every teason to fear that all hands on board have perished. Capt. Cole, of the Henrietta, who arrived in port just before the storm began, leports having seen a schooner, supposed to be the Henry, off the mouth of the harbour. The Henry was under the command of Mr. Holme?, formerly of the Titan, who was reputed to be an excellent seaman. One of the bodies was found by a policeman, who was sent by the Sub-Inspector to the wreck, washed ashore yesterday. This melancholy event has created a general feeling of deep regiet in Wellington... The following are the names of the men who were lost in the Henry : — John Holmes, master, of Portsmouth, aged 29 years ; Kenneth M'Kenzie, mate, of Garlough, Ireland, aged 32 years; and Win. Fisher, seaman, of Kilpatrick, Ireland, aged 24 years," — Wellington Spectator, June 1 .
