REWARD FOR THE DISCOVERY OF GOLD. A SUM of MONEY having been subscribed by Inhabitants of Auckland for the purpose of remunerating the first person who may make known the existence of a Gold Field in this Province, a REWARD OF £150 is hereby offered to any person who may satisfy a Committee appointed by the Subscribers, that Gold, of natural deposit in New Zealand soil, has been discovered within a radius of fifty miles of Auckland. Applications for the above reward made at the offices of the " New Zealander" or " Southern Cross," will be communicated to the Subscribers. Auckland, May 4, 1852.
