Much less rain lias fallen this month thnn in the same month of the two lust year*. Of the days mniked cloudy, several were only partially so ; and on aios of the d.iys marked showery, there fell only very slight showers. In the corresponding month of last year there were 12 fine clear days, 1 cloudy, and 18 showery days. Temperature.-' At sunrise, highest 66°, loweßt, 47° ; nt noon, highest 78°, lowest, 60" ; sunset, highest, 70°, lowest 54°. R. B. L.
