THE Undersigned being about to close his Premises in Shortland-street, begs to call the attention of Housekeepers and the Trade to his Stock of Farthen and Glassware, consisting of Soup Tureens, Dinner Dishes, Salad Bowls, Plates, of sizes, Cups and Saucers, Jugs, Mugs, Sauce Tureens, Decanters, Caraffes, and Sugar Basons ; .Vpenn Candles, Olive Oil, Mustard, lbs. and -| lbs. EDUCATION.
HPHE REV. T. HAMER desires to meet -1- with an engagement as Private Tutor to some Family in Auckland, or its immediate vicinity. His aim would be to give a sound education in all the branches connected with a knowledge of the English Language, Natural Philosophy, Mathematics, and the Classics. The necessary arrangements and terms, by letter or personal interview.
WINTER EVENING CLASSES.
The Rev. T. Hamer invites the attention of \oung men in Auckland to Classes he intends to form and conduct, during the months of winter, in his own house, Brickfield Bay, in any or several of the following branches of learning : — First— English Grammar, Composition, Logic, and Rhetoric. Second — Geography, Use of Globes, and History. Third — General Mathematics. Fourth — Latin and Greek Classics. Fijth — Reading of the Scriptures in Hebrew and Greek. Classes to meet two evenings in the week, and for the first time on Monday Evening, April 12th, at 7 o'clock. One Guinea per Quarter ; one half to be paid in advance.
np ENDERS will be received at the residence X of the undersigned, where Plans and Saecificalians can be seen, until Wednesday, the 14th instant, for the erection of a TWOSTORY HOUSE, in Queen Street.
