The barque John Phillips, which arrived on Mondny, oailed from the Downs on the 25th December, making the passage in one hundred and one days. She touched at the island of Tristan D'Acunha, and made Bass' Straits in eighty-four days. The Gwaltor sailed for Auckland from Deal, on the 13th December, twelve days before the John Phillips. 'J he Barbara Goidon was laid on by Willis and Co., for Auckland, but her destination was aiti'ied for the Southern Settlements, and the Incbinnan, chartered by the same firm and laid oa instead of her, to sail about the 10th of January.
