TT. M. SortVLYiNG Scuoovnn Pavdora. — Fiom a gcntlomnn wlio arrived yesterday evening 1 fiom Kaipara vp learn that dining the gale on Saturday last, about midday, 11. M.5. Pandoia, then at anchor off Omokoite in the Kaipara, parted both her anchors and was driven on shore. Much fear for her safety was entertained until Sunday at noon, when the wind changed at high water, and bhe was got off, having sustained no material damage. The barque Katheiinc Stewart Forbes arrived yesterday evening from London via the Cape of Good Hope. She sailed from the Downs on the 21st October, ariived i?.t the Cape on the 4th January, and sailed thence on the 9th of the same month. She experienced fine weather throughout, until she arrived off the North Cape on Fiiduy last, when she was caught in the heavy gale of that day, during which she lost one of her hands off the foro y.ud. The only vessel connected with these colonies spourn by her \va<? the Rohm Hood, whaler, of Hobait Town. The pa^engers by tho Kaiherme .Stewart Foibes aro nearly all for this poit. After discharging' her cargo here, she n.ill proceed to New Plymouth, the only other port of Now Zealand to which the is now destined.
