ANNUAL CONTRACTS. AUCKLAND DISTRICT. Commissariat, Auckland, 24th February, 1852. NO Eligible Tender having been received for the npply of FRESH MEAT, for the Auckland District, from Ist April, 1852, to 31st March, 1853; notice is hereby given that the Undersigned will receive Tenders for that Article for the period mentioned, until noon of Wfdnesday next, the 3rd March. The Conditions of Contract are specified in the Commissariat Advertisement, dated 20th January, 1852, and published in the "New Zealander" newspaper. Philip Turner, Assistant Commissary General.
Commissariat, Auckland, 24th February, 1852. npENDERS will be received at this Office, J- until noon of Friday, the 19th day of March, next, from persons willing to contract to supply the Barrack Department, at the Wahapu, Bay of Islands, with STRAW, during the twelve months ending 31st March, 1853. The Straw must be delivered at such times and in such quantities as may be directed by the proper authority on behalf of the Barrack Department, to whose approval the same is to subject. TO LET, for a term of years, as a Sheep Farm only, about 200 Acres of Land at Remuera, — and in March, 1854, a considerable addition shall be made in land at present under lease. The whole is inclosed and divided into paddocks by a Sheep-proof fence. The paddocks have a good sole of mixed grasses, every requisite for sheep farming, indeed their many advantages are too well known to require being put forth in an advertisement. 1000 Ewes will be to Jet with the place, if required, — and to an eligible person who can give security, no other need apply, the rent will be moderate, and an interest taken by the Proprietor, if thought desirable. Also, for Sale, A considerable number of Choice Dairy Cattle ; two truly good Farming Mares in Foal, and one of them has a fine Filly at her feet ; with single and double mould-board ploughs, harrow, trees, and harness complete ; A Stock Horse, two good Saddle Horses, a quantity of Potatoes, a Stack of Hay, and a variety of things useful and requisite to settlers.
