SIR, — We the undersigned, convinced that a Petition to Parliament, protesting against the New Zealand Company's claim, should be forwarded from this Borough without any avoidable delay, respectfully request that yon will Le pleased to convene a Gtfneral Mfeting of the Burgesses of the Borough of Auckland, on the earliest practicable day, to take the subject into consideration, and adopt the steps necessary for the purpose.
