Proposed.Programmo for ttoe Regatta* 1852. FIRST RACE. Prize £12 12s. — Entrance £1 10s» For Decked, half-decked, and Hatch boats, not exceeding 25 Tons, or under 5 Tons. — To start from the flag-ship passing on the south side of a flag-boat to be moored off the Watchman ; round to the north of the boat down to a flag-boat to be moored off the North Head, pass to the noith of that boat, round to the South, and back to the flag ship, coming in on her South side. Three Vessels to start or no race. Second boat to save her stakes. SECOND KACE. Prize £3. — Entrance £10s. 6d. For Boats pulling a pair of sculls. Amateur rowers. — -3 Boats to start or no race. Course. — From the flag-ship, pass to the South of a boat to be moored off Judge's Bay, tound to the North, and pass the flag-ship on the South side.
THIRD RACE. Prize £10 10s.— Entrance £1 Is. For four oar Gigs pulled by Amateurs. — Three Boats to start or no race. To start from the flag -ship, pass to the South of the flag-boat moored off the Watchman, round to the North, and come in on the South side of the flag-ship. FOURTH RACE. Ist ?rize £15 15s.— 2nd Prize, £3 3s. Entrance £1 Is. For Cargo Boats or Boats working for hire, not under 6 Tons. Three Boats to start or no race. In the event of five or more boats starting, the third boat to save her stakes. To start from the flag-ship, pass to the North of the boat at the North Head, round to the South, and wovk up towards the Watchman at the discretion of the respective boats, pass the flag-boat off the Watchman to the South, round to the North, and come in on t he South side of the flag-ship.
FIFTH It ACE. Ist Prize £10 10s.— 2nd Prize £3 3s. Entrance £1 Is. For Whale-boats to be pulled by five oars. Three Boats to start or no race, second boat to save her entrance money. In the event of five or more boats starting, the third boat to save her entrance. To start from the flag -ship, pass to the North of the flag-boat off the North Head, round to the South, and come in on the South side of the flag-ship. —
SIXTH RACE. Ist Prize £s.— 2nd Prize £1. No entrance. For small Canoes, not to be manned by more than twelve natives. Second boat to save her entrance. Same course as that for the whale-boats.-^-Three to start or no race. SEVENTH RACE. Prize £5. — Entrance 12s. 6d. For Sailing boats of 5 tons and under. — Three Boats to start or no race. Same course as that for the Cargo-boats,
EIGHTH RACE. Prize £5. — Entrance 10s. 6d. For Watermen's Boats pulling two oars. — Three boats to start or no race. Same course as that for the second Race. NINTH RACE. Ist Prize £B.— 2nd Prize £3. No entrance. For Canoes manned by an unlimited number of Natives. 3 Canoes to start or no race. Same course as that for the 6th Race. TENTH RACE, Prize £5 5s —Entrance £l2s. 6(3. Fo* square sterned boats not exceeding 25 feet keel, pulling four oars. Three boats to start or no race. Same course as that for the 3rd Race. ELEVENTH RACE. Prize £3 3s. — Entrance 7s. 6d. For Watermen's Boats pulling a pair of sculls. — Three Boats to stait or no race. | Same couise as that for the 2nd Race.
