Commissariat Office, Auckland, 20th January, 1852. nHENDERS will be received at this Office, J- until noon of Friday, the 20th day of February next, for furnishing such quantities of STRAW as may be required by the Barrack Department at Auckland, during the twelve Calendar Months, ending 31st March, 1853. The Straw must be delivered at such times aud places, and in such quantities as may be directed by the Barrack Master, to whose approval the same is to be subject. Payment to be made by an Ordnance Draft on the Commissariat Chest. Philip Turner, Assistant Commissary General.
