COMMISSARIAT CONTRACT. HAY OF ISLANDS. Commissariat, Auckland, 22nd Dec, 1851. rriENDERS will be received at this Office JL until noon of Thursday, the 15th Jan., 1852, from persons willing to supply the following articles for the use of the Troops at the Bay of Islands, from Ist February to 31st March, 1852, viz FINR BttEAD of the best marketable quality. The Conditions of Contract are stated in the Commissariat Adveitisement, dated 14th Jan., 1852, inviting Tenders for the Auckland District, for the twelve Calendar months, commencing Ist. April, 1851, with the exception of Article 2. of those Conditions. Bread of the above description being now required instead of bread made from 2u per cent, Flour. It is requisite that strict attention should be paid, to Article 10. of the Conditions referred to. Every Tender that is not signed in the manner therein specified will be considered ineligible for acceptance. Philip Turnfr, Assistant Commissary- General.

JOY begs most respectfully to return • his sincere thanks to the Public genelally, for the liberal patronage be has received from them during a period of three years, and he trusts that from the late improvements he has made in the " Masons' Home," and the great expense he has pone to in adding a Long Room, and. four additional bed-rooms to the House, that the Public will duly appreciate his efforts to please. From the Long Room there is a fine view of the Harbour, and of all the shipping entering inwards and outwards. The shipping can likewise be supplied with pure water within a stone's throw of the house; added to which, there is a public jetty for the accommodation of boats, &c. &c. A. C. JOY trusts that every facility will be oiforded by him for the convenience of parlies visiting his house. Auckland, January 12, 1852.
