The numbers of (Le Polynesian which, have last reached us contain a few poetical outpourings of the Irish State Coirricts, which may be regarded a^, in a sense, '■ Curiosities of literature," and will probably interest some of our readers. Our Hawaiian contemporary does not say how they came into his possession, merely heading them, " Published by request," or " For the Polynesian"'' It is not unlikely that they may have been transmitted to Honolulu from San Francisco, the free cicy which now glorifies itself on reckoning amongst its patriot residents, the valiant Tekgkctj IjEIiLEW McMANUS.
