THE BISHOP OF EXETER'S PROPOSED SYNOD.
We have selected from the late English papers the following series of articles on the then approaching Synod, which, in defiance, it may be said, of the Primate, of a number of the Clergy and Laity of his own diocese, { and of the lovers of peace in the Church generally, His Lordship Harry of Exeter was determined to hold. The iinpoi tance attached to the movement in England, will justify our devoting as much to it as will clearly set its salient points before such of our readers as feel interested in ecclesiastical affairs.
