ENTIRE HORSE "PORUS."
TH E Thorough-bred Horse "PORUS," will stand to coyest his season. Porus is a dark brown, 16 hands high, 5 years old, has a good temper and an excellent constitution ; he is by Septimus out of Camilla by Camerton, her dam a Hector mare. Camilla was also the dam of Harry Loroquer and Commissioner, both winners, and she won a maiden pldte at two years old. Porus stood one season at the Paterson, N.S.W., and the stock of his get was pronounced to be fully equal to the stock of the imported horse Young Camel. Porus is unquestionably the best horse in this Province, to cross with heavy mares to get what is termed a horse of all works, suitable for either the cart, plough or saddle ; with light mares, to get a good, quiet, neat hack ; or with racing mares, to insure size, as well as strength, and speed.
