Total Amount of Notes in circulation at the Office of the " Colonial Bank of Issue," at Auckland, on the 20th day of Sept., 1851, being the close of the preceding four weeks : — £5 and upwards £1 ,765 Under £5 1,516 Total £3,281 Total Amount of Coin held by the same Office on the same day :—: — Gold £2,538 Silver 28 Total £2,566 I, Alexander Shepherd, the Colonial Treasurer, do hereby certify that the above is a true account, as required by the Ordinance, No. 16, Session 8. A. Shepherd, Colonial Treasurer. Dated this 22nd day of Sept., 1851.
Land Commissioner's Office, Auckland, 24th September, 1851. I WILLIAM GISBORNE, a Commissioner 9 appointed under the Colonial Ordinance, No 2, Session 1, to examine and report on Claims to Grants of Land in the Province of New Ulster, within the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby give notice that I shall proceed to investigate the following claim, at Kaipara,on Wednesday the 22nd day of October next, and following days. All parties interested are hereby summoned to be in attendance, with their witnesses, and original deeds and documents and copies thereof (with translations, if in Maori), the latter to remain with the Commissioner.
