Commissariat, Auckland, 16th September, 1851. HHENDERS in duplicate, for the performance X of the following Service for the Royal Engineer Department, will be received at this Office until noon of Tuesday next, the 23rd instant, viz.: — Carting a quantity of Scoria — about 170 perches — from the Engineer Quarry, at Mount Eden to the Magazine at Albert Barracks. Commissariat, Auckland, 16th September, 1851. TENDERS in duplicate will be received at this Office, until noon of Thursday, the 25th instant, from persons willing to contract to supply the 58th Regiment, at Auckland, with the following articles, viz.: — Tea Sugar Flour Salt Pepper Rice Barley Potatoes Gieen Vegetables Milk.

The quantities likely to be required may be ascertained from the Quarter-master of £the 58th Regiment. The supplies will have to be delivered at Albert Barracks daily, at th£ same hours as the Rations of Bread and Meat are delivered.

Each Tender must comprise the whole of the above-mentioned Articles. Tenders for portions thereof not being eligible for acceptance. The quality of the supplies to be of the best description, and to be subject to the approval of a Board of Officers appointed by the Officer

in command of the Regiment. The Contract to last for three months, commencing on the Ist proximo, unless previously terminated by a month's notice given for that

purpose in writing by either party. The person taking the Contract must be prepared to give ample security for its proper fulfilment. Payment for the supplies furnished will be made monthly by the 58th Regiment. Philip Turnfr, Assistant Commissary General.

Commissariat, Auckland, 12th Sept., 1851. JTIENDERS in Duplicate will be received at Jl this Office, until noon of Wednesday, the Ist of next October, from persons willing to Contract for supplying this Department for the Service of Her Majesty's Troops, &c, &c, at Auckland, with FINE BREAD of the best marketable description, from the Ist November, 1851, to the 31st March, 1852. The Conditions of Contract are stated in the Commissariat advertisement dated 14th Jan., 1851, inviting Tenders for the Auckland District for the twelve calendar months, commencing Ist April, 1851, and published in the " New Zealander" newspaper, with the exception of Article 2, of those Conditions. Fine Bread as above described being now required, instead of Bread made from 20 per cent flour. It is requisife that strict attention should be paid to article 10, of the " Conditions" referred to. Every Tender that is not signed in the manner therein specified will be considered ineligible for acceptance. Philip Turner, Assistant Commissary General.
