Little Jack Russell Got in a bustle, At bearing the general cry; A letter wiote he, In the popular key, And said " What a good boy am 1 '" Sing a song of Popery, The universal cry ; Six-and-twenty Bishops Their Sovereign standing by. When the Addiess was opened, Two names were nowhere sten ; Now isn't this a pretty way To serve their gracious Queen? Ullathoiine in the pulpit Was speaking words of honey • A Bishop in his libraiy Was counting out some money ; The Pope was in the Vatican, Thinking " how well it goes," When up jurap'd Punch's little dog, And snapped off his nose.
