Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, 30th May, 1851. NOTICE is hereby given that all persons desirous of obtaining Publicans' Licenses in the Town of Auckland or the District thereof, except as after mentioned, must apply for the same as heietofore, to the Bench of Magistrates at Auckland, at the time and in manner prescribed by the " Licensing Ordinance," Session 2, No. 12. Any person yho may be desirous of obtaining such License for any House situated in that part of the Village of Howick occupied by the Enrolled Pensioners, and comprised within certain boundaries particularly set forth and described on the plan of the said settlement, deposited in the office of the Surveyor General, must apply for the same to the Bench of Magistrates at Howick, at the time and in manner prescribed by the said Ordinance. Any person who may be desirous of obtaining a License for any House situated within such parts of the several Villages of Onehunga, Panmure, and Otahuhu, as are respectively occupied by the Enrolled Pensioners, and comprised within certain boundaries particularly set forth and described on the respective plans thereof, must apply for the same to the Bench of Magistrates at Onehunga, at the time and in manner aforesaid. And any person desirous of obtaining a Licence for any House situated within those parts of the said several Settlements of Howick, Onehunga, Panmure, and Otahuhu, which are. not occupied by such Enrolled Pensioners, or for any House within the immediate vicinity of the said Settlements, as shown on such Plans as aforesaid, must in future apply for such License to the Governor in Council, through the Colonial Secretary, pursuant to the provisions of the " Licensing Amendment Ordinance" Sess. 3, No. 21.
